		Wee Deliver will begin October 2006


		Wee Deliver is an excellent program offered by the United States Postal Service. Our staff, in conjunction with the Postal Service, has evolved their program into Fairy Tale Mail. Letter writing promotes literacy. Please encourage your children to join us in this fun activity.

Please encourage your children to write to a friend, sibling, or staff member. Kindergartners can draw a picture and send it to a friend; they can also receive mail. After completing their letter help them address the envelope. Using stamps they have made, have them glue one onto the corner of the envelope. Don't forget your return address! The child can then bring the letter to school, and use either the lobby mailbox or their classroom mailbox. Our dedicated postal workers will then process it from there.
Remember, sending letters through Fairy Tale Mail is not just for kids. You can use the stamps and send a special note of love or encouragement for your child. If you can't come into school to mail it, send it with a neighbor or through the child's teacher.
